Ice Princess

OK so she isn't quite the princess on ice yet, especially with the grandma style walker.  But with a few more lessons she might actually be skating. Right now she kinda marches on the ice with her arms out to her sides to keep her balance. I love how enjoyable it is to be a parent watching my child learning something new. What a great feeling, what a gift!   :) Jordyn began ice skating lessons this month and goes each Monday night. This is a great sport for her since it is something we can actually do outdoors here in the winter. There are many lakes in the area to skate on, and almost every school here is equipped with an outdoor ice rink.  

Here she is at her first lesson. You really gotta love the walker!!  She actually let go of it after a while and began improving quickly. I think we are going to hit the rink on Saturdays as a family for a while to get her a little extra practice. Way to go Jordyn- you are doing great!
