city league

During the last few winter months we had fun supporting our dad at his city league basketball games.  It is nice having something to go do indoors when it is fa-reezing out.  Of course Ryan is in heaven playing organized basketball with actual refs (tournament and all)! All the guys there seem to soak it up as they are reliving their old high school glory days.  Well, we as a family have fun watching the games and cheering on the team. Jordyn is old enough to understand the scoring and could pay attention to the games the longest and would often tell me to cross my fingers in hopes someone would make their free throw. Eli just wanted to match his daddy, so would make me dress him in his basketball shorts and tennis shoes when we would go. He would strut around feeling cool while every once in a while yelling "Go Daddy."  Ryan would often wave back. I took a couple pictures at one game, most of them didn't turn out (not a very great camera for when people are running up and down a court) This whole last few years of watching Ryan play is starting to make me wonder if I should find my own ladies team to join. I'm thinking soccer??? Working out and having fun at the same time? Sign me up!
