Our children would sleep out in a tent all summer if we would let them. If only we could cancel the mortgage through the summer months and just camp/fish. We had the BEST weather last weekend, and we all wanted to just be outside. The kids begged to set up the tent. The girls ultimately were the ones to sleep out in it. Not sure what happened to Eli. He came in to go potty and ended up in his bed. Not sure we can call this camping for real though, I included a picture that shows the tent just behind the back porch. It was enough for the kids. Eli couldn't stay away from the fire- so intriguing it is poking a campfire with a stick. On Sunday morning, the girls woke up and set up their very own breakfast. They brought out the milk, cereal, bowls etc. I woke up to seeing them all at the little tykes table outside enjoying their most important meal of the day. Wow, they are really growing up. They didn't need me at all.
