The Hunt

Well, Ryan went on the annual moose hunt and was successful. He and my brother Patton took it down. The moose held a 57" rack, which isn't too bad. This year the list of attendees included Pat, Ginger, Ryan, Patton, Kali and Ryan Ponder. My uncle Merle and cousin Mathew flew into camp for a visit as well. Here are the pictures...they say it all.

Ryan huddled in the BIG tent sipping his hot chocolate. You can't see it in the picture but he is living it easy sitting next to a nice hot wood stove in that tent. Ahhh, the luxury.

Here's the moose that will fill up the freezers. THANK YOU moose!

Merle came to visit with Mathew on Sunday. This is Mathew's 1st hunt and the day after this pic was taken he got a 63 incher!! It is going to be hard to beat that next year Matt!
