Jordyn was in love with these baby birds. Their sweet mamma built her nest in the eaves of our home and we have enjoyed them for 2 summers. I set up a ladder to get a better view. Jordyn and I were both able to take a peak just in time before...
A rotten magpie attacked the parents, killed them and emptied the nest. Did you know that magpies actually eat baby birds? So sad. We've left the nest in hopes another mamma robin will pick our home for her own. We'll keep our fingers crossed.
