Summer Butte Hike June 2009

Our first hike of the summer was "The Butte" The kids love going for a good hike and we tried to do as many as we could before we went on vacation.

Janet Metcalf with her son Jared carrying sweet little Josie; literally a few weeks old. I'm still amazed you made that hike Janet!

Here the kids are on the way down the Butte. We left a little early and ran down as fast as we could to catch Ryan on his lunch break. Eli was tired and it took a little to get him moving, but the girls were having the time of their lives and enjoyed going faster than Mom.

We made it in time...and had a nice time seeing Daddy.

...off to the Matanuska Park in Palmer where the kids relaxed and enjoyed the rest of the beautiful day.
